Yes! Pixelacious returns after dropping off the grid for a while. The main reason for it disappearing was that there wasn’t a lot of input from visitors and the original gallery kind of relied more on submissions rather than me updating on a regular basis. The updating was not happening either namely due to lack of time on my part and also lack of enthusiasm. It may well be that the same will happen here, but this time around I have no intention of ditching the site just because I haven’t updated in a while or haven’t received any submissions.

Pixelacious started out using Coppermine Gallery as its structure. When ReBoot Mayhem was forced to move, along with Edge of Beyond, Pixelacious was dumped. I had the ability to add on a gallery structure to the Edge of Beyond forums and so that’s what I focused more on while creating ReBoot Mayhem using Joomla. I added half of the gallery to that site, with the rest going to the boards. The board gallery is still there but it may disappear shortly because:

nobody is submitting anything to that gallery;

I find it more of a waste of resources since the visitor levels have dropped significantly

That’s something further down the track, probably once I get this up and running properly and have finished working on ReBoot Mayhem’s redesign utilising WordPress.

Speaking of WordPress – why the move? You’ll have to check on ReBoot Mayhem for that answer! For now, enjoy browsing around the site. Screencaps are not up yet but will be coming soon so be sure to keep an eye out for updates!
